The purpose of the Individual Interdisciplinary Major is to provide each student in good academic standing the opportunity to design and pursue a major (as part of his/her BA or BS degree requirements) which transcends existing majors. The IIM allows the student to formulate an integrated program from two or more disciplines that meets his/her needs in a more viable way than the traditional majors.
